Within a room people can mute, react and of course, talk.
Rodeo was a live audio room experience for friends to casually drop in and chat, with the potential of friends-of-friends joining in.
Rodeo’s idea came from the concept of trying to build a drop-in, drop-out water-cooler experience for friends to hangout and chat in using their AirPods with the app running in the background. The social graph was designed to allow friends-of-friends to join into rooms, giving the rooms the possibility to grow exponentially quickly.
From a design point of view, the focus was purely on the roles and statuses people had in rooms (ability to kick people from the stage to the audience freely, emoji statuses, low battery statuses, or incoming phone call signals).
